The RHS Flower show Cardiff takes place in Bute Park right in the centre of the city. Lamp posts around the city centre are decorated with enormous daffodils whilst in the park itself there are large plantings. The show Takes place from 11-13 April 2014
Six daffodils have been launched by Ron Scamp at the Cardiff show. Welsh songstress Katherine Jenkins 7 Y-R,was the first in 2007 followed by Bute Park 4Y-Y, Gwawr 2W-WWP, Welsh Warrior 1Y-Y, Gwenillian 3 W-GYR and in 2012, BBC TV The One Show Presenter, Alex Jones 2W-P. Will there be a daffodil launched in 2013?
