Britains native daffodils threatened by garden centre daffodils?

English Heritage, guardian of some of the UK’s most important historic gardens, is taking action to combat the threat to the native wild daffodil by ordering a mass autumn planting of 25,000 bulbs of the native strains of daffodil and bluebells at some of its sites.
