Congratulations on a wonderful show at Coughton Court! Are you able to tell me who won the New Zealand Medal Class at the show please and what varieties were in the winning collection?
Thanks, Denise.
Julian Woodrow won the New Zealand medal class. The cultivars in the winning collection were Cameo Joy, Cameo King and Welcome.
Thank you for posting the results and pictures. We so enjoyed them. They brought back happy memories of our visits to the UK and in particular last year. We would love to have been at Coughton Court despite the frost! We were so pleased to see Clive Postles’ winning entry in the Bourne Cup – something we had hoped to do for him last year. Congratulations to all the winners. We thought the standard looked to be very high. Over here we have just finished our planting so as always look forward with eager anticipation to the coming Spring. Our best wishes to all.
My thanks also for the photos. We really do like keeping up with results and winners when it is out of season for us. I would question the naming of Ruddy Rascal in the Centenary Class. Ruddy Rascal is a yellow – red trumpet bred by Mike Temple- Smith and the flower in the collection does not appear to be that cultivar.
