Gallipoli campaign centenary daffodil

One of the ways in which the Gallipoli Association will mark the one hundredth anniversary of the Dardanelles, campaign fought in 1915, is with a daffodil named Gallipoli Dawn.

This strong growing all yellow garden variety, that has also had success on the showbench , will be sold to raise funds for the charity.

Raiser, Ron Scamp from Quality Daffodils in Falmouth said he was deeply honoured to be asked to name a variety for the centenary campaign. By a strange coincidence they have discovered that the Scamp family have a direct link to the fighting..
