Countdown to Coughton Court

The sudden arrival of Spring has brought many daffodils into full flower and gardens, parks and highway verges are looking a picture. Show varieties are also moving fast and the warm weather is tempting the flowers to open slightly early and is some cases on short stems.
Fortunately the range of daffodils grown by exhibitors have a long flowering season and there will still be a glorious display at the Society show at Coughton Court on April 19/20.

A photo from the North Somerset Chrysanthemum and Dahlia Society’s show, one of the earlier shows held on Sunday 16th March, capturing some of the six entries in the 9 cultivar class gives a taste of what is to come.
