The Daffodil Society is going to hold a social presentation evening with a three course meal and overnight accommodation on Sunday 4th November 2018. This gives all members a chance to meet everyone and get together and swap information. It also means that all medals and trophies for both the main show and the late show can be presented on the night. At present no trophies are being presented because we are unable to find a volunteer to store them and bring them to the shows, check them in and out and so on, so this is an ideal opportunity to present these at that time.
Life Members, Vice Presidents and all Members and their families and friends are welcome. You do not have to be a trophy or medal winner to attend and there is no obligation to stay in the hotel if you do not wish to.
This is to be held at a magnificent place called Easthampstead Park, Peacock Lane, Bracknell, RG40 3DB which in set in 60 acres of woodland. – Easthampstead Park is set within a Victorian Country mansion, standing at the end of a half mile tree-lined driveway. Please see photo- also can be looked up on the web. It is close to the M4, M3 and M25.
As this is announced well in advance this should give you plenty of time to make the necessary arrangements.
This Venue has 29 double rooms, so we could have up to 58 people stay (single rooms are available) but above that number arrangements could be made at other local hotels. Reservations will have to be strictly on a first come first served basis, so it is important that you let Wendy Gillings (Membership Secretary) know as soon as possible if you wish to attend. Email:

The cost for a 3 course sit down plated meal is £35.00 per head
A single room, including breakfast is £65.00
A double room, including breakfast is £85.00
So for a couple for the evening and staying the night would be £155.00 or a single person £100.00, which I am sure you agree, is great value.
