After all the hard work and planning the sun shined on what was a glorious celebration of the daffodil and the work of “The Daffodil King” Peter Barr, who pioneered new daffodils at plant nurseries in Tooting. Congratulations to the organisors.
The Daffodil Society was represented by Past President Reg Nicholl – a recipient of the Peter Barr award. Jan Pennings, Chair of the RHS Bulb committee and Sally Kington, a past RHS International Daffodil Registrar also attended.
