Joyce and I are sorry to hear the sad news of Roger’s death. Roger and Terry gave exhibitors the opportunity to enjoy at least another decade of daffodils raised by the late Clive Postles. As an exhibitor Roger set a very high competitive standard with superbly grown daffodils beautifully staged. Our condolences to Terry, Claire and Matthew.

Roger was a very generous man with both his time and his bulbs. Time devoted to the society and also freely given to individuals who had a query or who just wanted to talk daffs. His bulbs donated in support of regional societies have been a Godsend and typifies the encouragement given to those who only dream of exhibiting to his standard. Roger will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to Terry and the family.
