Daffodil Society Officers & Committee 2023
The Society has Officers and Committee vacancies to be filled at the AGM on March 2023.
Our Chairman, Ian Tyler is standing down at the AGM. In accordance with the Constitution, nominations for the Office of Chairman are invited together with a Proposer and Seconder to be received no later than 1st January 2023.
We also have vacancies for a Secretary and a Membership Secretary and nomination with Proposers and Seconders should be received as above.
In addition there are likely to be two Committee vacancies. The Society may consider Co-option to the Committee to ensure duties are performed if Committee places are over- subscribed. Co-optees do not have a vote.
All Officers and Committee must be fully paid up Members of the Daffodil Society
There has been encouraging interest from Members to help out in what has been a difficult few years and we hope that this support will result in firm nominations and some long term stability. The Society welcomes new Committee members and seeks fresh energy and ideas to take the Society forward.
