Ten Thousand Daffodils
From 24th April to 24th June 2023, Lowther Castle, Cumbria UK will be hosting ‘Ten Thousand Daffodils’, an installation of ceramic daffodils within the gardens.

Description
The installation – echoing William Wordsworth’s experience of coming across a host of golden daffodils over 200 years ago – is being staged as part of the Ullswater Way’s Year of Art.
Helen Ratcliffe, the organiser, is aiming to raise of £250,000 for four charities. These are:
1. Another Way – education environment charity based in Cumbria.
2. Sunbeams – music therapy trust for children and adults with a wide range of disabilities and complex medical needs
3. New Horizon Youth Centre – a day centre for young homeless people
4. Friends of the Ullswater Way
