Life membership of the Daffodil Society is a rare honour, bestowed upon those who are considered to have given exceptional service to the Society.
At this year’s AGM the Society bestowed Life membership on Terry Braithwaite and Len Olive, both of whom have given exceptional service to the Society. Terry, our former Secretary since 2004, remains on the Committee and is still willing to help in whatever way she can.
Len Olive remains our Lottery officer and has raised many thousands of pounds for the Society. He is a respected grower, exhibitor and mentor, always willing to encourage and help others.
Congratulations! It was our pleasure to make these awards and we will be formally making a presentation at the Daffodil Society show dinner.

This year’s recipient is Ken Harrop. A long time Committee member with a very practical frame of mind and a passion for daffodils which he shares willingly with others. Congratulations Ken.
