Daffodils at Woburn Abbey

Committee members Michael and Sandra Baxter and Robin Crouchman visited Woburn Abbey at the invitation of the Head Gardener in order to view the many unknown daffodils flowering in the grounds.

Without planting plans or some other provenance daffodil identification of long standing cultivars is notoriously difficult but the sight of historic varieties within mature landscapes has a charm all of its own.
