The Society urgently needs a Show Manager. You can be an individual, a couple or even a small group so long as someone is prepared to own the role and title.
You need to be available on the third weekend in April each year and able to attend 4 Committee meetings We want a capable organiser, physically fit, good humoured and calm and able to get the best out of your volunteers.
Perhaps you have been a project manager, run successful events that require staging and equipment to be laid out and erected safely and to best effect? Maybe you have been responsible for your own flower show and feel capable of organising something on a larger scale?
You will not be alone. The Committee has a very able Show Secretary and members who will undertake to make the show successful and an attractive event for visitors.
Can you help us keep the Society shows running as they have been for over 120 years?
Do you know someone who could fill this role and could you encourage them and bring them along to the AGM or this years show?
There are some exciting developments ahead and a sad end if this role cannot be filled.
