What is eating my flowers?

Lots of people have been asking this question. It has been such a wet Spring in the UK that flowers are being eaten, even before they have opened. Such wet conditions have been ideal for molluscs (slugs and snails). Combined with damage by rain and wind, 2024 is not an epic year for Daffodils. The good news is that the leaves and flower stems are left alone so can photosynthesise to build up the bulbs for next year.
