During the period from the 9th March to the 1st April 2013, the National Trust at Trelissick Garden, near Truro in Cornwall, is staging an event entitled ‘Daffodils at Trelissick’, which consists of a three week display of many of the varieties of daffodil growing in Cornwall, generously supplied by Ron Scamp of Falmouth, along with information boards which tell the Cornish daffodil story and a children’s daffodil trail.
During the weekend of the 16th and 17th March, the standard display is replaced by the ‘Trelissick Garden Daffodil Show’ which attracts competitive entries from the major growers and breeders in Cornwall.
