The Daffodil Society Journal has just been published and contains all manner of interesting articles including one from Brian Duncan making the case for hybridising from species, John Asher on Edward Buxton at Heigham Park and David Sheals on daffodils at Summerdale, Cumbria.
The draft minutes of the Annual General meeting to be approved at the AGM on Sunday 1 March are also printed.
Jan Dalton, the Daffodil Society Archivist has also written an article in celebration of the Society’s return to the Birmingham Botanical Gardens in Edgbaston. This year’s Daffodil Society Annual Show is being held at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens on 18th and 19th April 2020.
